<p>Sound walls are public infrastructure intended to primarily to reduce traffic noise reaching adjacent homes, businesses, schools, parks and other sensitive land uses. </p><p>The Streets group is responsible for the inspection, routine maintenance, repair/ replacement, and coordination with development projects. </p><p> </p><p><strong><u>NOTE:</u></strong> The streets group is not always responsible for the repair/replacement of sound walls. Some of the sound walls not maintained by the Streets group are located on CR 98 and are indicated in the field information. </p> |
